Dr Enno Klussmann Joins Mironid’s SAB

January 15, 2018 – Mironid is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Enno Klussmann to our Scientific Advisory Board

Dr. Klussmann is currently a group leader at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) Berlin, Germany.

Dr Klussmann is internationally renowned for his work on cAMP signalling in the kidney.  He has made major contributions to our understanding of how the hormone, vasopressin modulates diuresis through cAMP-regulated trafficking of aquaporin-2 (AQP2) water channels.  He is also renowned for his work on uncovering novel cAMP signalling complexes involving cAMP-dependent protein kinase-A (PKA), defining the interfaces between components of such complexes and exploiting such knowledge in programs aimed at developing potential therapeutics through the use of novel screens to identify small molecule disruptors of specific protein-protein interactions.
